University of Texas - Austin Names Coy Wilcox as Director of its Petroleum Extension

University of Texas - Austin announced that Coy Wilcox has been named director for the Petroleum Extension (PETEX), a component of the Texas Extended Campus at The University of Texas at Austin. In this position, Wilcox oversees all operations and activities of PETEX, which trains oil and gas industry workers. Wilcox's role encompasses oversight of the Austin headquarters location and PETEX's Learning and Assessment Center in Houston. Wilcox began his appointment September 14, 2015. Before coming to PETEX, Wilcox served as the training, learning and development manager for Nabors Drilling in the Middle East. He has experience in instructional development, training management, and marketing and business development within the petroleum industry. In addition to a two-year stint at Intertek Consulting and Training, Wilcox spent about seven years with Nabors Drilling overseas in various training management roles.
