OpenPeak Inc. announced the new software release of its Mobile Enterprise Management platform for corporate IT administrators. Leading the improvements in the release is an upgraded administrative console featuring a new job scheduler, a more streamlined user interface, and numerous other tools that simplify and speed the execution of management tasks. OpenPeak's Mobile Enterprise Management platform coordinates the management of company-liable mobile devices, as well as enterprise applications, voice and data services on employees' personal mobile devices. The platform delivers the most advanced technology and high levels of security, while remaining easy to use through its web-based administrative console. The new release of the console offers a fresh, clean design, enhanced performance and sophisticated tools to help administrators work faster and more efficiently. Among the new features are: A time-saving job scheduler that allows managers to queue and schedule a sequence of tasks (e.g., configuration changes on deployed mobile devices). The scheduler also provides dynamic real-time inspection and reporting on the progress of job execution; Simple controls to define complex group policies from existing Active Directory groups or users. These policies can be ranked, and either additive (e.g., Wi-Fi setting) or exclusive (e.g., required password strength); Easy governance of large-scale deployments via improved management tools including free-form and fixed filters, saved and shared searches, and detailed device status down to the individual policy level; A dynamic HTML5 streamlined user interface for improved speed and proficient navigation; and Enhanced policy automation capabilities enabling administrators to reduce help desk interactions, improve user compliance, and gain efficiencies by reducing daily workloads. The upgraded management console supports the creation of multiple tenants and multiple tiers to partition groups of devices among different management organizations. Administrators can also define user groups with restricted privileges (e.g., help desk vs. auditor vs. administrator). The entire interface supports easy branding by OpenPeak's customers.

OpenPeak and Box Enable Seamless, Secure, Enterprise Cloud Collaboration Within ADAM(TM)

OpenPeak announced a new partnership with Box that will provide default cloud storage, content sharing and collaboration within OpenPeak's ADAM mobile device and application management platform. The companies will demonstrate a preview of the new offering this week at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. The solution will enable users on the ADAM platform to seamlessly access business content from Box's secure collaboration platform directly via email within the ADAM secure workspace. This means that users will be able to open, create, edit and save files directly to Box without ever having to leave the email app. Most importantly, the integration of Box within ADAM will enable OpenPeak's mobile channel partners to offer a secure, turnkey cloud storage and collaboration solution to their enterprise customers as a part of their EMM solutions. Box works on any mobile device, providing users anywhere, anytime access to critical business data and documents synced automatically across all devices.
