Asahi/America, Inc. Key Developments

Asahi America, Inc Introduces New PVDF Forward Pressure Regulator

Asahi/America, Inc. announced the next-generation model T-241 forward pressure regulator for ultrapure water systems. The T-241 pressure regulator is a forward pressure regulator that controls upstream pressure fluctuations to critical points of use. The T-241's internal parts have been significantly improved for optimum purity and minimal particle shedding. The wetted elastomers have been upgraded to premium materials, and internal surfaces have been enhanced. The parts are cleaned and assembled by Asahi/America's manufacturing partner, AGRU, in their Austrian facility. All wetted parts are cleaned in an automated six-phase cleaning system, then assembled and packaged in a Class 100 cleanroom. The T-241's body features an integrated gauge guard, which eliminates the need for additional instrument fittings. The included pressure gauge has been upgraded to a robust stainless steel housing. The regulator setting is easily adjusted by an integrated set screw; protected by a top cap. The T-241 is available in high purity PVDF and PP body materials. Designed to meet stringent particle-shedding constraints for next-generation microelectronics manufacturing, the T-241's enhanced features make it the best solution for your next tool hookup project and for replacing installed regulators that are causing yield issue.

Asahi America Introduces 1+ Connection Fittings by EM-Technik

Asahi/America, Inc. now offers 1+ style compression fittings by EM-Technik. The 1+ provides a complete seal without the use of tools, and significantly reduces assembly times. The patented new design of the 1+ compression fitting is highlighted by an integrated clamping ring that allows for a secure, reliable, and reusable tube connection without the need for loose ferrules. Available in PP, PVDF and PFA, the 1+ compression fitting is easy to install - simply slide the tubing through the nut and hand-tighten to create a tube connection rated up to 230psi. The 1+ fitting is currently available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sizes in union, elbow, tee, and threaded configurations and is perfect for air and liquid handling applications in a wide range of industries including biopharm, analytical, chemical handling, laboratory and research, and food processing.
