SevOne launched the SevOne SDN Monitoring Solution for Cisco ACI at the 2017 Cisco Live! Conference. The SevOne SDN Monitoring Solution integrates SevOne’s world-class network and infrastructure monitoring functionality with the next-generation capabilities of Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), providing complete visibility into all the entities comprising a Cisco ACI-based deployment. This powerful combination delivers greater agility and scalability to large, enterprise and communication service provider environments, while giving IT and network operations managers more unified, real-time visibility to both the virtual overlay and the physical underlay components of an infrastructure, along with the relationships between them. The SevOne SDN Monitoring Solution includes seven interactive dashboards which manage the transition to SDN. They visualize the physical and virtual relationships with automated mappings of Cisco ACI deployments, as well as automatically provide service assurance. These dashboards also enable a greater understanding of how infrastructure performance impacts the applications and services made available through Cisco ACI deployments. Automated Topography Dashboards - provide users with greater insight into both the virtual (overlay) and the physical (underlay) components of their infrastructure, allowing for a more in-depth understanding of the health and performance of their SDN-based implementation; Tenant-Driven Logical Visibility Dashboards - help teams easily visualize their new dynamic network from a tenant and application first perspective; Tenant KPIs and Health Score Dashboards - display real-time and historical views of health statistics of the overall system and of individual tenant-based operations; System-Wide Fault Reporting Dashboards - enable teams to quickly visualize fault critically across the entire system or by domain and type; Application Network Profile and End Point Group Fault Dashboards - give operations and engineering teams a better understanding of the health of their overall system, including logical entities such as end point groups, application network profiles and tenants, in real-time and historically; Automated Baselining Dashboards - deliver proactive notifications for abnormal behavior of Cisco ACI system based on historical trends; Node and End Point Topology Dashboards - automatically display the physical and logical relationships, enabling users to quickly visualize their Cisco ACI implementation. SevOne Collaborates with Red Hat to Create a Powerful NFV Solution for Service Assurance

SevOne in collaboration with Red Hat, unveiled a new network functions virtualization (NFV) solution that leverages the advanced virtualization of network functions from Red Hat’s NFV solution with the automation of assurance and performance from the SevOne platform. This offering is designed to enable communication service providers (CSPs) to implement and operate an NFV-based infrastructure, and gain greater insight into their virtual network services and cloud infrastructure on which it runs " offering CSPs greater business efficiency and agility along with the ability to reduce operating costs. The SevOne solution can automatically assure both the virtualized network functions deployed by Red Hat NFV-based implementations and the infrastructure on which it runs. By monitoring each layer of an NFV architecture, the solution can detect when new virtual network functions are deployed and where they are running on Red Hat OpenStack Platform-based infrastructure, enabling automated NFV assurance powered by the SevOne platform to: Acquire " Proven scale to meet the needs of the CSPs, to collect the broad range metric, flow, log and meta data from all layers of the virtual and physical NFV infrastructure. Analyze " Real-time analytics with automated baselining and anomaly detection to reduce service delivery risk. SevOne Appoints Yash Shah as Chief Technology Officer

SevOne announced that Yash Shah has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Yash will help develop the company’s vision, as well as oversee product and technology strategy to drive innovation and the next phases of company’s award-wining platform. Most recently, Yash was SVP of Product Design and Management at CA Technologies, which he joined after selling InteQ to CA Technologies. Yash is a current board member of TiE Boston, a nonprofit association dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in the Boston area, and serves on the advisory boards for several startups. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.
