Websense Reportedly Buying Stonesoft

Websense, Inc., a unit of Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) is buying Stonesoft Oyj from Intel Corporation (NasdaqGS:INTC) for $389 million in a deal that could be announced on October 29, 2015, sources said. A Raytheon spokesman had didn't comment on the new and Intel representatives did not respond to requests for comment. The transaction completion is expected by the end of 2015.

Raytheon To Reportedly Acquire Websense For $1.9 Billion

Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) has agreed to buy Websense, Inc. from Vista Equity Partners in a deal that values the network security company at $1.9 billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the matter. Raytheon will combine Websense with its own cybersecurity operations and have an 80% stake in the combined entity, with Vista owning the rest, the people said. Raytheon and Websense representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
