PubMatic Announces New Appointments to Management Team

PubMatic announced the appointment of two new members to its management team. Michael Adair, previously Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Partnerships at Rubicon Project, has joined the company as Vice President of Publisher Development, Americas, responsible for developing new premium publisher relationships, with a particular focus on new mobile partnerships and expanding the adoption of PubMatic’s expanding suite of offerings with existing publishers. In addition, PubMatic is also building out its Advertiser Solutions team with the appointment of Kyle Dozeman as Vice President of Advertiser Solutions,Americas, responsible for leading the company’s buy-side-focused sales, operations and strategy. Prior to his appointment as Vice President of Advertiser Solutions, Dozeman held roles in both Platform Sales and Corporate Strategy at PubMatic, where he helped drive and support key initiatives, including the company’s go-to-market strategy, corporate strategy and branding efforts, business development, merger and acquisition activities related to the company’s 2014 acquisition of the mobile ad serving company Mocean Mobile, and international expansion efforts.
PubMatic Expands Presence in Germany

PubMatic announced plans to expand operations across Germany with the opening of a new head office in Hamburg. This will provide an increased level of service to Hamburg and Berlin, whilst maintaining the coverage currently provided to customers in Munich and surrounding areas. The target open date of the PubMatic office in Hamburg is late fourth quarter of 2016/early first quarter of 2017 and will be the base of the new Regional Director and their team.
PubMatic and Proxama Partner on Automated Beacon Marketing

PubMatic announced its partnership with Proxama PLC to exclusively power the automation of ad buying for media buyers and sellers across its portfolio of apps. PubMatic will provide Proxama with a leading private marketplace (PMP), enabling brands and agencies working with Proxama to see the premium ad space available before deciding which placements to invest in. Proxama will work with PubMatic to drive its programmatic strategy across its app inventory. Proxama’s apps on Android and iOS devices trigger contextually relevant notifications when in proximity to a Bluetooth beacon which awakens the app, where a relevant and timely ad is served. Brands can capitalise on the consumer’s exact physical context and dwell time to deliver ads to an audience with a higher tendency to engage.
