Good Technology Corporation Key Developments
Good Technology Enables Next-Generation Mobile Application Management, Distribution and Integration
May 5 15
Good Technology announced a simpler way for users to access their corporate approved apps and for IT to cost-effectively deliver new corporate apps and updates. Good is ushering in the next generation of mobile application management (MAM), providing one tap access to an enterprise app store through Good Launcher, which is now integrated into Good apps for even greater productivity. New enhancements to the Good Dynamics® Secure Mobility Platform provide simplified management of Good-secured apps and mobile workflows. As organizations move beyond first-generation enterprise mobility management (EMM) and look to deploy apps, many find that device management-only approaches lack easy management, distribution and monitoring of business apps. With integrated MAM in the Good Dynamics Platform, Good provides investment protection as IT adds mobile
application management capabilities without having to replace infrastructure or receive additional training. Separately, Good also announced enhanced mobile service management (MSM) with app server monitoring and management for greater reliability and faster problem resolution. As organizations increasingly mobilize apps, they require capabilities to provide service levels similar to a desktop experience. Likewise, they need to
extend desktop applications such as Microsoft to mobile devices. To support these demands, Good recently announced Dynamics CRM for Good as well as support for OneDrive for Business, in addition to Exchange, hosted Exchange, Office 365, and SharePoint in both cloud-hosted and on-premise architectures.

Good Technology Announces Innovative New Updates to Good Work
Mar 1 15
Good Technology announced the next wave of innovative new updates to Good Work that are enabling businesses and entire industries to transform how they securely connect, communicate and collaborate. The announcements include a simple, single interface for business apps with Good Launcher, fast, secure application access through Apple Touch ID and secure enterprise support for wearables. Good Launcher is the new business desktop, providing users with access to all the apps they need while mobile with the push of a single button. The simple interface gives users navigational control of Good Work with one-touch toggling between email, calendar, contacts and documents. Additionally, Good Launcher enables users with access to all Good apps including Good Access, Good Connect, Good Share and Good for Salesforce1 or any of the over 1,600 customer-developed Good apps. Some of the most desired consumer features available on mobile devices can also compromise corporate security. Now, Good bridges these two concerns with support for application access via the Apple Touch ID feature on iOS 8 devices. With IT administrator policy enablement, users can enjoy fast access to any Good-secured app using their fingerprints on Apple smartphones and tablets with supporting hardware without compromising Good's container security. As part of the Good Trusted Authentication Framework (TAF), this capability is also available to developers building applications on the Good Dynamics® Secure Mobility Platform. Good Dynamics ensures security and protection of business data accessed by and stored on wearables and shared between other Good-secured apps. This opens up almost limitless possibilities for wearables to be used for two-factor authentication or access control to Good Work or any other Good-secured app running on a smartphone.
