Good Technology Corporation Key Developments

Good Technology Announces New Security Capabilities for Good Work That Further Protect Corporate Data

Good Technology announced new security capabilities for Good Work that further protect corporate data. The market-leading business-class email and collaboration app can now be extended with secure voice and SMS communications, configured with more granular data loss prevention policies, and enabled to support Email Classification and Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) for enterprises that require classification and digital signing and encryption of messages. Organizations are faced with the challenge of securing enterprise data while enabling their employees to be more productive when mobile. For many industries, all communications are required to be secured and discoverable for regulatory purposes and voice and text communications often go overlooked. Other organizations have further requirements on message encryption and signing, while many are also looking to move beyond "all or nothing" data loss prevention policies like copy/paste restriction to support evolving mobile use cases. The new capabilities in Good Work enhance user productivity and provide IT with more flexibility to secure and manage access to sensitive messaging, voice and SMS communications. Good Work also now supports email classification and S/MIME for digital signing and encryption of messages. Organizations and industries requiring S/MIME now have a next-generation alternative for other S/MIME email solutions that meets regulatory requirements, bringing with it all other security and collaboration benefits of Good Work.

Good Technology Expands Hassle-Free BYOD Offering with New Enterprise Split Billing Solutions

Good Technology announced new Enterprise Split Billing solutions to alleviate the need for blind BYOD stipend or reimbursement programs. Good Enterprise Suite with Data Service and Good Mobile Analytics and Reporting help companies remove friction from bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and corporate-owned-personally-enabled (COPE) rollouts. These solutions enable organizations to accelerate enterprise mobility by reducing liability, controlling expenses and diminishing complexity. For companies with BYOD programs, there is little visibility now to separate data requirements for business versus personal applications on an employee phone. Stipend programs, put in place to reimburse estimated business cost for personal device use, add considerable administrative burden, and introduce potential tax and compliance issues. For COPE programs, visibility into data usage is also of interest since now most organizations simply pick up the tab without knowing what amount is actually being used for business or personal purposes. The two new solutions from Good Technology will eliminate both uncertainties and simplify mobile BYOD and COPE rollouts with potentially significant corporate cost savings.

Good Technology Enters Global Reseller Arrangement with Samsung Electronics America
