A consortium of Middle East-focused investment funds is in talks to acquire a majority stake in Fawry Banking & Payment Technology Services Ltd. According to Al Mal financial, the consortium includes Helios Investment Partners LLP, Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund and EFG-Hermes MEDA Fund Limited. Sources told Al Mal that the sellers include Raya Holding Company for Technology and Communication (S.A.E) (CASE:RAYA), Bank of Alexandria (S.A.E) and Arab African International Bank. Sources value the deal at $100 million.
