AVJennings Limited (ASX:AVJ) is on the hunt for sites and is closing in on the purchase of the Auto Alley car yard site in Sydney's Parramatta for about $150 million. AVJennings is in due diligence on the Church Street site but the deal is not entirely sealed given aggressive local development group Dyldam Developments Pty Limited and Chinese behemoth Greenland Holding Group Co., Ltd. are still vying for the popular site, which won approvals for 780 apartments.
Dyldam And Greenland Reportedly Eyeing Auto Alley Apartment

Dyldam Developments Pty Limited and Greenland Holding Group Co., Ltd. are interested in acquiring Auto Alley apartment site from Boyded Industries Pty Ltd. According to the news report, interest in the property is heating up and the firms are battling for the AUD 150 million property. Sources said that the site has strong offers from two parties, with the property expected to be sold before the expressions of interest campaign closes on March 19, 2015. While sources said that Greenland was aggressively pursuing property, there are so far two higher bidders, Dyldam and another Shanghai based firm that is trying to enter Sydney. According to the news report, parties and the agents related to the potential deal, Colliers International’s Guillaume Volz, Harry Bui and Ryan Bennetts, and Matrix Property Group’s Andrew Antonas and John Chancellor, could not be contacted for comments.
