Beacon Capital Partners Reportedly Buys A Tower At 515 N. State

Beacon Capital Partners LLC has a preliminary deal to pay about $225 per square foot for the 622,487-square-foot tower at 515 N. State St., according to people familiar with the sale. Beacon is buying the building from a venture led by UBS AG (SWX:UBSN). The Chicago Tribune first reported Beacon is the buyer. Eastdil Secured is selling the building for UBS. A Beacon spokesman declined to comment and a UBS spokeswoman did not immediately return a request for comment, reported Crain's Chicago Business.
