United Biscuits announced the launch of new McVitie's Digestives Nibbles. The product offers the well-loved taste of the number one McVitie's Digestive biscuit range in a chocolatey bitesize format. Available in a re-sealable pouch in four variants - Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Double Chocolate and Caramel - McVitie's Digestives Nibbles are a modern way to enjoy the great taste and texture of McVitie's Digestives, with an added chocolatey treat. United Biscuits has announced that Martin Glenn will be stepping down from the business in early April 2015 to join the English Football Association as CEO. Glenn will be succeeded as CEO by Jeff van der Eems who is currently CEO of UB's International business. Jeff van der Eems, currently CEO of the International business in United Biscuits will be taking over as CEO of UB as of 3 April.

United Biscuits confirmed that 202 jobs were at risk from a restructuring at the McVitie's factory in Glasgow, although some workers will be able to reapply for 36 new positions, leaving a net reduction of 166 workers. The GMB union the announcement had come at the worst time in the run-up to Christmas.
