Kroll Appoints Richard Faughnan as Managing Director in its Investigations and Disputes Practice

Kroll announced that Richard Faughnan has joined the firm as a managing director in its Investigations and Disputes practice. Faughnan will be based in New York. Faughnan brings years of experience working in a variety of industries and markets investigating, identifying and mitigating risks and other business challenges. In addition, he has led monitorships involving major infrastructure projects, construction contractors and other government service providers in a variety of industries. Previously, Faughnan served as co-leader of the Public Sector and Monitoring practice at Navigant Consulting. At Navigant he led a wide range of integrity monitorships and complex investigations for public and private sector clients, often involving multimillion-dollar fraud schemes. Before joining Navigant Consulting, Faughnan was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, where he served as Chief of the Public Integrity Section, supervising investigations and prosecutions of government corruption and government fraud. Prior to his appointment as Assistant U.S. Attorney, Faughnan served as Deputy Chief of the Appeals Bureau at the Office of the District Attorney of Kings County.

Kroll announced the appointment of two senior hires. Tom Parker joins the firm as Senior Vice President, Global Products and Bob Huff rejoins Kroll as Managing Director, Business Development. Both Parker and Huff recently joined Kroll. Based in Reston, VA, Tom Parker is responsible for overseeing Kroll's full suite of compliance-related products and services. In this newly created position, he will help to set the overall product vision as well as manage the full product lifecycle for the business. For more than 20 years, Parker has served in numerous senior roles at Wolters Kluwer, Global Compliance, and Dun & Bradstreet. Most recently, Parker was a senior executive with CT Corporation (a Wolters Kluwer company), where he was responsible for directing the corporate strategy and vision for the SMB segment and the product, marketing, and operations for the business. Prior to CT Corporation, he was President, Product and Operations for Global Compliance, a leading global provider of ethics and compliance software and services, including third party compliance solutions. Bob Huff returns to Kroll after 8 years following senior leadership positions with Navigant and Aon. Huff was a Managing Director with Krollâ s Investigations and Disputes practice from 2001-2006, where he was responsible for leading engagements related to corporate investigations, business intelligence and investigative research. Following his departure, he was appointed Managing Director/Global Practice Leader for the Corporate Investigative & Security Services Group of Aon Consulting. While with Aon, Huff built the firmâ s global due diligence, investigations and security consulting services practices from the ground up. Most recently, he was a Director with Navigantâ s Compliance & Investigations Practice, where he helped clients address their anti-corruption technology and due diligence needs. Huff is based in Los Angeles and will focus on serving as a subject matter expert and broadening Kroll's presence in the Western United States.

Kroll, Inc. announced the appointments of John Loveland as Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer (CINO), Ken Roche as Chief Financial Officer and Lee Kirschbaum as President of Kroll Compliance. All three will report to Kroll Chief Executive Officer Emanuele Conti. Loveland joins Kroll from iRisk Strategies, a Washington, D.C. firm he created to help clients mitigate the risks associated with the proliferation of data and information assets. Roche brings to Kroll more than 20 years of financial leadership experience at a range of dynamic firms. Most recently, Roche was a principal with Accordion Partners. Prior to his promotion to President, Compliance, Kirschbaum was Senior Vice President, Operations for Kroll.
