Kroll Announces Appointment of William C. Nugent as Regional Managing Director, Investigations & Disputes, North America

Kroll announced that William C. Nugent has been appointed as Regional Managing Director, Investigations & Disputes for North America, effective immediately. Most recently, Nugent served as a Senior Managing Director in charge of Kroll’s Philadelphia, PA office, where he manages a wide variety of domestic and international assignments on behalf of governments, corporations, law firms and individuals. Prior to joining Kroll, Nugent served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for more than seven years, three of which were with the Organized Crime Strike Force, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of federal criminal cases, including economic and violent crimes, racketeering (RICO), money laundering, narcotics trafficking and civil rights violations. Previously, Nugent was a litigation attorney in the Philadelphia office of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen handling white collar criminal defense and civil fraud cases.
Kroll Announces Reorganized Operating Structure; Announces Management Changes

Kroll announced that the Board of Directors of Corporate Risk Holdings, LLC, its new parent company, has decided to operate Kroll as two distinct business segments: Kroll Advisory and Kroll Ontrack. Kroll Ontrack provides global technology-driven services and solutions to help legal, corporate and government entities as well as consumers collect, manage, recover, search, analyze, produce and present data efficiently and cost-effectively. Kroll Ontrack delivers data recovery, data destruction, electronic discovery, consulting and document review services.
David Fontaine, CEO of Corporate Risk Holdings, has appointed Mark R. Williams as CEO of Kroll Ontrack, effective immediately. Mr. Fontaine will, with the support of the regional managing directors and senior management team, head the Investigations and Disputes practice. In connection with this organizational change, Emanuele (Manny) Conti, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of Kroll since April 2014, has decided to leave the organization, effective as of September 30, 2015, to pursue other personal career aspirations. In order to effect a smooth transition, Mr. Conti has agreed to assist the company as a consultant for several months. Williams practiced corporate law as an attorney and partner with a prestigious global law firm; founded a legal process outsourcing company; and was a senior executive with three leading firms in the legal outsourcing/data solutions market. Williams worked for 17 years as an attorney and Partner with DLA Piper.
With respect to Kroll Advisory, Mr. Fontaine announced that Lee Kirschbaum will continue to lead the Compliance business and Brian Lapidus will continue to lead the Identity Theft and Breach Notification business.

Kroll announced the appointments of William Krivoshik as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Barbara Cooperman as Chief Marketing
Officer (CMO). Both senior executives are based in Kroll’s New York City headquarters location. Most recently, Krivoshik served as chief information officer (CIO) for Time Warner Inc. In that role, Krivoshik was responsible for global technology, leading development and execution of the firm’s enterprise-wide information technology strategy. Cooperman most recently served as the CMO for the College Board. At the College Board, her responsibilities extended to overseeing all marketing functions, including branding, marketing strategy, web services, design, and marketing and publication operations.
