T-Mobile Poland appointed Thomas Lips as director of technology and board member from August 15, 2015. He replaces Milan Zika, who decided to leave the company and the DT group. Lips works in telecommunications and is associated with Deutsche Telekom for 20 years. For seven years he held managerial posts in Deutsche Telekom. During his career he implemented several strategy and international projects including transformation and network infrastructure development of operators in Asia and Europe, including T-Mobile Poland. Currently Lips is a member of the Europe Technology Board (EUTB).

T-Mobile Polska reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 2015. The company reported 9.5% year-on-year revenue growth to PLN 1.6 billion partly on consolidation of GTS, while EBITDA slipped 2.4% year-on-year to PLN 544 million. A noticeable revenue growth was due to positive effects of GTS consolidation as well as revenue growth in the mobile segment. That top line growth mainly originated in the corporate segment, although ‘a good result’ was also achieved in the retail segment.
