The North Face, Inc. Key Developments

North Face to Open a Store at Nebraska Crossing Outlets in August 2015

North Face will open a store at Nebraska Crossing Outlets in August 2015, in time to sell jackets and backpacks to students headed back to school. The company expects the North Face to add about $12 million in annual sales to Nebraska Crossing, which saw $140 million in sales its first year, ending in November 2014. The company also announced two other stores. Express Factory Outlet, opening in July, sells clothing and accessories targeted to 20- to 30-year-old men and women. The Fragrance Outlet, aiming to open Memorial Day weekend, sells designer brand perfume including Calvin Klein, Hermes and Coach. The center is now 100% leased. The North Face operates or has plans for a total of about 22 other outlet locations, but the nearest is in Colorado. The 7,500-square-foot store will occupy part of a vacant retail bay, plus all of the former Borsheims Boutique bay.
