James Manyika Joins MacArthur Foundation Board

Dr. James Manyika, a director of the McKinsey Global Institute and senior partner and board member at McKinsey and Company, has been elected to serve on the MacArthur Foundation Board of Directors. Based in Silicon Valley for 20 years, Manyika has worked with many of the worlds leading technology companies and their chief executives on strategy and innovation. He has led research on the global economy, including growth and productivity, technology and the digital economy, automation and the future of work, globalization, and competitiveness. Manyika was appointed by President Obama to serve as vice chair of the Presidents Global Development Council at the White House, and by the Secretary of Commerce to the Digital Economy Board of Advisors.

Olufunmilayo Falusi Olopade to Serve on MacArthur's Board of Directors, Effective December 6, 2016

Dr. Olufunmilayo Falusi Olopade, a hematology oncologist and expert on the molecular genetics of breast cancer and tumor suppression, has been elected to serve on MacArthur's Board of Directors, commencing on December 6, 2016. Dr. Olopade directs the Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics and Global Health and is Dean for Global Health and Walter L. Palmer Distinguished Service Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago Medicine.
