Vodafone Romania Reports Revenue Results for the Quarter Ended September 2016

Vodafone Romania reported revenue results for the quarter ended September 2016. The company posted a revenue of EUR 179.2 million ($193.3 million) in the three months through September, up by 3.6% year-on-year. Service revenue decreased by an annual 5.6% on an organic basis in the fiscal 2016 to EUR 688.4 million.

Vodafone Romania Launches LTE-A in 350 Localities

Vodafone Romania launched data services through 4G +/LTE-A in a number of 350 localities. The move will allow hundreds of thousands of customers who have compatible smartphones to access internet services at doubled internet speeds. Increased speeds are achieved by using the 800 MHz and 1800 MHz frequency bands for 4G/LTE data service delivery. The speed increase will be experienced by all Vodafone customers, even if they do not have compatible phones with 4G +/LTE-A.
