Townhall Media Selects OpenX for Patent-Pending Header Bidding Solution

OpenX and Townhall Media (Townhall) announced an expanded relationship, with Townhall selecting OpenX as its primary partner for header bidding. Header bidding, also known as a tagless solution, allows publishers to offer inventory to multiple demand sources simultaneously before making calls to their ad servers, thereby increasing competition and ultimately publisher yield. Townhall integrated OpenX Bidder, the first header bidding solution, as part of its digital advertising strategy across mobile and web to boost programmatic revenues. The OpenX Bidder integration resulted in a 57% increase in revenue for Townhall, a conservative news organization that attracts more than 17 million monthly unique visitors and reaches the larger and most engaged conservative audience online.
Pascal Gauthier Joins OpenX Board of Directors

OpenX announced that Pascal Gauthier, the former COO of Criteo, and the Founder and CEO of Challenger Deep joins the OpenX board of directors
effective immediately. Gauthier brings more than 15 years of digital media and advertising expertise to the OpenX board. While at Criteo, he oversaw its global product roadmap, sales strategy, and European operations. Gauthier held executive level positions at Kelkoo within Yahoo! and served as entrepreneur in residence at Index Ventures. He serves on the board of video ad tech company Teads.tv.
