SAP Se and SuccessFactors Announces a New Release of SAP Jam Collaboration

SAP SE and SuccessFactors announced a new release of SAP Jam Collaboration, a social software platform that improves informal learning. Available January 26, 2016, SAP Jam Collaboration supports the SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution in a way to help companies save money and time, while allowing employees to learn in a more engaged and collaborative manner. Corporate learning is usually offered as single training events and can cost more than USD 1,700 per hour to develop. It diminishes engagement over time and weakens the ability to learn from peers. Companies are looking to streamline training costs, while at the same time helping employees develop continuously. Collaborative learning technologies help companies adapt and maintain their competitive edge. At Bertelsmann, are in the midst of a long-term transformation to digitize existing businesses and develop new digital offerings. Supporting this transformation, have simultaneously started an implementation of an SAP SuccessFactors solution, which includes implementing SAP SuccessFactors Learning in decentralized organization for 100,000 employees, said Mathias Damaschke, senior director, Corporate HR Strategy & Systems, Bertelsmann. The company are also using the SAP Jam social software platform to foster social learning and internal collaboration around specific learning events, helping to support individual digital development, which is highly important as a global media, services and education company. In conjunction with SAP Jam, SAP SuccessFactors Learning provides social and collaborative features for companies to foster a learning culture by helping employees and instructors collaborate on a continuous basis for training and development.

SAP SE Names Yvette Cameron Global VP of Strategy, SuccessFactors

SAP SE announced that Yvette Cameron will join the company's SuccessFactors business as global vice president for strategy. In this new role, Cameron will help drive the visioning and long-term planning for the SAP SuccessFactors business. Cameron will report to Mike Ettling, president, SuccessFactors. Cameron was most recently at Gartner Inc., where she served as research director, HCM Technologies.

Nakilat Adopts SuccessFactors's HR Management Solutions

Nakilat has announced that it has become the first organization in Qatar to adopt an HR programme of talent management solutions provider SuccessFactors and integrate the Human Capital Management suite in-house. The SuccessFactors HCM uses futuristic cloud-based technology to increase productivity and streamline functions, including recruitment, performance management and collaboration across Nakilat and its joint ventures. Nakilat is launching the SuccessFactors talent management suite as it recognises the importance of engagement and collaboration two of the key areas SuccessFactors facilitates. Importantly, Nakilat joint ventures-Nakilat Keppel Offshore and Marine and Nakilat Damen Shipyards Qatar will have full access to the system, allowing for greater synergy and efficiency on the many projects they work together on. By partnering with SAP for this important move, Nakilat will pave the way for other companies in Qatar to take advantage of this technology.
