Vocation reportedly Mulls Sale Of Endeavour College of Natural Health

Vocation Limited (ASX:VET) is reportedly seeking to sell Endeavour College of Natural Health Pty Ltd. to a group of buyers. There has been speculation that one of the bidders is Laureate International Universities. Embattled education group Vocation is poised to sell its prized Endeavour College of Natural Health for close to $84 million, the price it paid for the asset in mid-2014, in a move which is likely to end an asset sale program and extinguish its debts by late March or early April. Vocation's Chief Financial Officer Stewart Cummins, Chief Financial Officer of Vocation Limited said on March 16, 2015 that there had been substantial interest in Endeavour but he wouldn't comment on industry speculation that a sale was imminent. “It's one of the assets that we've received a lot of interest in," Stewart Cummins said. Stewart Cummins said the timetable of any further sales was still open. "We're not going to prejudge the process." Vocation Limited is working closely with three banks, Westpac Banking Corporation (ASX:WBC), Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) and National Australia Bank Limited (ASX:NAB), which have demanded asset sales as part of a refinancing. Stewart Cummins declined to comment on who was on the shortlist for Endeavour.
