Skoda to Launch Kodiaq in Berlin on September 1, 2016

Skoda, is launching its Kodiaq SUV in Berlin on September 1, 2016. The model will be the first SUV to come from the company's new Vision S design study concept that was first showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It is to arrive in the European market by the end of 2016 or early 2017, with the India launch following in the second half of 2017. The vehicle measures around 4,700 mm long, 1,910 mm wide and 1,680 mm high and it utilizes Volkswagen's MQB platform. It will be available with a choice of five engines, two TDIs (diesel) and three TSIs (petrol).
Skoda to Launch SportLine at 2016 Frankfurt Motor Show

Skoda is launching its Superb SportLine at the 2016 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model is being made available to United Kingdom car buyers. The vehicle features 19-inch Anthracite Vega alloy wheels, sports design bumpers, tinted glass, and black gloss trim treatment on the grille, wing mirrors, window surrounds and rear spoiler in the case of the notchback sedan. It is available in Moon White Metallic, Quartz Grey Metallic, Business Grey Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Black Magic pearl effect and Corrida Red, with Dragon Green Metallic as an exclusive option.
Skoda Auto Names Klaus-Dieter Schurmann as New Head for Commercial Affairs

Skoda Auto, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, has named Klaus-Dieter Schurmann as its new head for commercial affairs. The new head for commercial affairs will take over responsibility for commercial affairs on Skoda Auto's Board of Management with effect from August 1, 2016. He succeeds Winfried Krause. Schurmann has worked for Volkswagen Group since 1990. He was the chief representative at Volkswagen Financial Services AG from 2000 to 2002 and was a board member from January 2003. Winfried Krause took on his role on Skoda's Board of Management in April 2010.
