Ripken Baseball and Leidos, Inc. Announces Stadium Naming Rights Partnership

Ripken Baseball and Leidos, Inc. announced a multi-year partnership granting Leidos the naming rights for Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md. Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium is now the home of the Aberdeen IronBirds, New York-Penn League short-season affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The IronBirds home opener at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium is set for June 19 at 7:30 p.m. against the Hudson Valley Renegades. The IronBirds and Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium will also play host to the 2015 New-York Penn League All-Star Game in August. Season ticket packages are currently available and offered through full season, half season and 9-game ticket plans.
Bizon Joins Ripken Baseball, Inc. as Food and Beverage Director

Peter Bizon has joined Ripken Baseball as food and beverage director. Bizon is charged with managing the in-house food and beverage operations for Ripken Stadium and the Ripken Experience – Aberdeen youth complex. Bizon brings more than 15 years of culinary experience and will oversee concession stands, portable stands, suites and the Open Air Cafe for all Aberdeen IronBirds games and events at Ripken Stadium, as well as all concession activity at the Ripken Experience–Aberdeen complex. In his new role with Ripken Baseball, Bizon is responsible for designing and implementing a yearly concessions plan to increase revenue, increase food and beverage quality, while improving customer service and limiting food and labor costs. He will also supervise all aspects of daily food and beverage operations with baseball games and other outside events. Prior to joining Ripken Baseball, Bizon served as regional district chef at Aramark.
