Stinson Leonard Street Announces Executive Changes

Stinson Leonard Street has named Sandy Wunderlich and Michael Kaplan as co-managing partners of its St. Louis office. They succeed John Moticka, who remains a partner in the office. Wunderlich, who joined the firm in 1992, tries cases and handles appeals in state and federal court, often in financial services, pharmaceutical and other complex commercial litigation. Kaplan, who joined the firm in 1994, concentrates on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, taxation and estate and succession planning.

Stinson Leonard Street LLP has hired Shawn Adams as its new chief operating officer, replacing Terry Brummer, who retired on March 1, 2016. Adams most recently worked as chief strategy officer for Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Dallas, which is an AmLaw 200 firm with offices in Texas, Denver and Mexico City. He handled operations and implementation of the firms strategic growth plan. Adams also has experience in operations and integration of acquisitions after working as chief administrative officer for Locke Lord Bissel & Liddell LLP. He worked as a vice president at Pitney Bowes Management Services as well. At Stinson, Adams will be responsible for managing operations for a law firm with a staff of nearly 1,000 attorneys in 14 offices across the United States. He'll be involved in developing long-range plans and will work closely with the board of directors.
