Barnes Aerospace announced unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of $112,356,000 against $109,310,000 a year ago. Operating profit was $20,670,000 against $16,616,000 a year ago. The operating profit increase was primarily driven by higher contributions from spare parts sales. In addition, the Component Repair Programs in the MRO business and favorable product mix in the OEM business likewise benefitted operating profit.
