DTEK Energy Reports Audited Consolidated Earnings and Operating Results for the Year Ended December 31, 2014

DTEK Energy reported audited consolidated earnings and operating results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported revenue of UAH 93,009 million compared to UAH 92,792 million. EBITDA was UAH 15,861 million compared to UAH 14,550 million a year ago. Net loss was UAH 19,648 million compared to net profit of UAH 2,980 million. Capital expenditures dropped by 46% or UAH 4,671 million to UAH 5,520 million. For the full year, the company reported Coal production of 37,122,000 tones compared to 41,408,000 tones a year ago. ROM coal processing was 26,401,000 tones compared to 32,970,000 tones a year ago. Concentrate production was 17,092,000 tones compared to 21,908,000 tones a year ago. Electricity generation was 47,790 million kWh compared to 53,054 million kWh.

Dnipropetrovsk Governor Insists Re-Nationalization Of Firms Privatized Illegally

Dnipropetrovsk Governor Ihor Kolomoisky has insisted on the re-nationalization of assets that were "privatized illegally" between 2011 and 2014 including Public Joint-Stock Company DTEK Dniproenergo (DB:DPG1), DTEK Zakhidenergo PJSC (UKR:ZAEN) and DniprOblEnergo OJSC (UKR:DNON) belonging to DTEK Holdings B.V.; JSC "Sumykhimprom", Public Joint-Stock Company Ukrtelecom (DB:UK1) and RE Zaporozhye Titanium & Magnesium Combine belonging to Group DF Limited.

Government Allow Privatization of Nine Companies

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved privatization of blocking share holdings 25%+1 share in each DniprOblEnergo OJSC (UKR:DNON), Zakhidenergo JSC (UKR:ZAEN), Joint Stock Company Kyivenergo (UKR:KIEN), Public Joint-Stock Company DTEK Dniproenergo (DB:DPG), PJSC Donetskoblenergo (UKR:DOON), Krymenergo OJSC (UKR:KREN) (all are under control of DTEK Holdings B.V.), Public Joint Stock Company Vinnytsiaoblenergo (UKR:VIEN), PJSC Zakarpattiaoblenergo (UKR:ZOEN), and OJSC ChernivtsiOblEnergo. Ukrainian News learned this from the Cabinet's resolution No. 47 dated February 12, 2014. The share holdings should be auctioned off by November 20, 2014. It is reported in early 2013 the Cabinet of Ministers allowed privatization of PJSC Khmelnytskyoblenergo, OJSC PC Mykolayivoblenergo, OJSC Ternopiloblenergo (UKR:TOEN), Open Joint Stock Company Zaporizhiaoblenergo (UKR:ZAON), KharkivOblEnergo JSC, and Cherkasyoblenergo OJSC. Privatization competitions for these companies have not been carried out yet.
