Agros Nova Looks For Buyers For Its Fruit Juice Assets

Agros-Nova Sp. z o.o. is sounding out interest from potential buyers in assets which include a logistics centre, a fruit juice and drinks factory and the three fruit juice brands, Pysio, Fortuna and Garden. The response has been very good according to the Chief Executive Officer of Agros Nova, Marek Sypek. Hortex seems a natural contender, and the head of Hoop Polska Sp. z o.o. also recently said that she was interested in buying Agros Nova assets. Other potential buyers include juice producer Hellena and firms from the FMCG trade. In the case of a sale not going ahead, Agros Nova will also consider buying additional assets.

Colian Holdings SA (WSE:COL) has denied speculations of the firm allegedly being interested in acquiring juice assets from Agros-Nova Sp. z o.o. Jan Kolanski, Chief Executive Officer of Colian said that the company wants to grow and use the existing potential. He added that Colian has adequate production capacity and strong brands that continue holding strong positions in their categories.
