iShares Canadian Universe Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in Canadian dollar denominated investment-grade fixed rate Government of Canada, provincial, corporate, and municipal bonds with a maturity of at least one year. It seeks to track the performance of the FTSE TMX Canada Universe Bond Index. The fund was formerly known as iShares DEX Universe Bond Index Fund. iShares Canadian Universe Bond Index ETF was formed on October 31, 2000 and is domiciled in Canada.
