Varsity Brands hired Jefferies LLC to assist with a potential sale. Partners Group declined to comment while Varsity Brands and Charlesbank did not respond to requests for comment.

Varsity Brands Reportedly Planning To Sell Itself

Varsity Brands, Inc. is planning to sell assets. People close to the matter stated that Herff Jones, Inc.’s parent, Varsity Brands is exploring a sale of the entire corporation that could fetch up to $1 billion. They added that Varsity Brands has engaged Jefferies LLC in order to assist with a potential sale. The news report mentioned that Varsity Brands could not be reached for comment while Jefferies declined to comment.
