Premier Tech Aqua announced that it has entered into a partnership with Entex Technologies to bring to the Canadian Municipal, Commercial, Community, Institutional and Industrial (M2C2I) sectors proven and fixed and moving media solutions for wastewater treatment. PTA thus becomes the exclusive partner to integrate, sell and market ENTEX BioPortz(TM), BioWeb(TM), and Webitat(TM) technologies for M2C2I wastewater applications in Canada. PTA will use its unique rotomolding and engineering expertise to integrate ENTEX technologies (BioPortz(TM), BioWeb(TM), and Webitat(TM)) and combine their exceptional effectiveness with its existing line of high-performance wastewater treatment solutions. With this partnership, PTA enhances its portfolio of products and technologies as well as its capacity to offer the most suitable solution to an even greater variety of M2C2I applications - from the upgrade of aerated lagoons in the cold Canadian climate to helping small businesses solve specific wastewater treatment needs.
Premier Tech Opens New Plant in Rexton, New Brunswick

Premier Tech announced the opening of a new plant integrating the most recent technologies in the sphagnum peat moss industry. The expansion and modernization of the plant follows the signing of a financial partnership agreement with Invest New Brunswick, for an amount totaling up to CAD 1 million, and of a refundable loan, of up to CAD 1.5 million, from the federal government, through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. In addition to reaffirming the manufacturing presence of its Business Unit Premier Tech Horticulture in New Brunswick, the opening of this installation will lead to the creation of 33 new jobs. This project is the result of a joint effort from Premier Tech's teams in its equipment and horticulture sectors. Representing a total investment of close to CAD 5 million, it will allow the deployment of manufacturing and commercial strategies while increasing Premier Tech Horticulture's sphagnum peat moss reserves in Eastern Canada.
