The Air Force on May 15, 2015 announced that AT&T Government Solutions Inc., BAE Systems Information Solutions Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., Computer Sciences Corp., Federal Network Systems LLC, General Dynamics Information Technology Inc., Harris IT Services Corp., HP Enterprise Services LLC, IBM U.S. Federal, LGS Innovations LLC, Lockheed Martin Corp., L-3 National Security Solutions Inc., NCI Information Systems Inc., Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., NextiraOne Federal LLC, Raytheon Co., Science Applications International Corp., SRA International Inc., Telos Corp. and URS Federal Services Inc. had been chosen for the network operations and infrastructure solutions portion of its Network-Centric Solutions-2 contract. NETCENTS-2 NetOps and Infrastructure covers a wide range of services and solutions to support infrastructure, networks, systems, and general IT operations. HP Enterprise Services, LLC Wins $305 Million IT Services Contract from California Welfare Consortium

HP Enterprise Services, LLC announced that California's Welfare Client Data Systems (WCDS) consortium has signed an agreement for HP to continue managing the consortium's welfare eligibility determination system. The contract is valued at up to $305 million. Under the five-year agreement, which includes five additional option years not included in the announced contract value, HP will continue providing a suite of IT services for the consortium's CalWORKS Information Network (CalWIN), an online, automated eligibility determination, benefit calculation and management system that serves more than 485 sites across 18 California counties. The agreement with HP is intended to increase staff productivity and efficiency and enhance service delivery to the state's welfare clients. The system supports California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, County Medical Services Program, Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants, Kinship Guardian Assistance Payment Program, foster care and adoptions, general assistance programs and employment services required by the programs. The agreement further strengthens the HP-CalWIN relationship, which began with the development of CalWIN to efficiently administer public assistance programs and provide quality services to its communities. As part of the contract, HP will implement modernization projects to improve the system's business intelligence, document management and customer service functions.
Arkansas Extends 30 Year Relationship With HP Enterprise Services With New Medicaid Contract

HP Enterprise Services announced the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Medical Services has signed a $190 million contract for HP to implement its interChange Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and continue as the state's Medicaid fiscal agent. The seven-year contract includes one base year with six one-year options and extends HP's nearly 30-year relationship in supporting the state of Arkansas. HP will continue to manage the state's legacy system until the new MMIS goes live. The Arkansas interChange MMIS will give the state the flexibility to adjust quickly to changing state and federal policies while processing daily claims for the state's Medicaid clients. Healthcare providers will be able to receive real-time claims adjudication and resolution via a secure provider website, and Medicaid clients will be able to access their information to make healthcare decisions via a secure client website. The state will also take advantage of HP Business Process Services during and after the implementation, which will be used for provider enrollment, claims processing, reporting and audits.
