G-III Apparel Group enters license agreement with Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger and G-III Apparel Group announced that they have entered a license agreement to introduce a line of women's dresses inspired by the Tommy Hilfiger brand. From February 2016, the collection will be available at select department stores, including Macy's, specialty stores, and e-commerce partners in the United States and Canada. The term of the agreement is five years with G-III having a right to renew for an additional five-year term subject to achieving certain sales levels.
Tommy Hilfiger In Talks To Acquire Hotel Nash

Tommy Hilfiger is in talks to buy the Hotel Nash. The new purchase price has not been released and the deal has not yet closed. Hilfiger told Women’s Wear Daily that he plans to turn the property, which he called “a bit dated,” into a “five-star chic hotel with all the amenities.” The New York Post’s Page Six reported that he plans to add an exclusive club element to the hotel. According to a statement released on behalf of the sellers and Hilfiger, conversations about the deal started during Art Basel Miami Beach in 2013. “The Raleigh is an incredible hotel with a very special place within the Miami market,” the designer said in the statement. “As reported, we're actively working towards making it our flagship property under my new company, Hilfiger Hospitality. Once the purchase is complete, we will share my team's vision to bring The Raleigh brand to life in a way that hasn't been done before."
