Zaklady Tworzyw Sztucznych Gamrat S.A. is negotiating the sale of a heat and power plant and will use the proceeds to bankroll acquisitions, Chief Executive Krzysztof Moska told Mergermarket. The sale would generate funds that could be channeled into acquisitions. With regard to acquisitions, Gamrat has adopted an opportunistic approach but its focus is on EU companies, Krzysztof Moska stated further. In 2014, Gamrat sought to acquire a roof gutter production facility and was engaged in negotiations with a Scandinavian entity. This production segment is likely to remain in Gamrat’s focus, Moska said, adding that Gamrat was prepared to spend up to €20 million. Any deal would be financed through a combination of existing resources and bank debt
