McCormick & Schmick's and Colonial Properties Trust have settled a lawsuit related to the closure of the seafood restaurant's Colonial Brookwood Village location. Colonial began in January 2012, the two parties jointly agreed to dismiss the lawsuit and each pay their own court fees, according to a court order July 10. Colonial sued the restaurant chain, which is owned by Landry's Inc., after the location closed in January - about six years and eight months before its 15-year lease expired. That worked out, according to a lease attached to the lawsuit, to about $2.3 million in rent owed to Colonial.
