Several Entities Seek IPO In 2015

Several Indonesian entities intend to launch an initial public offering (IPO) in 2015. PT Medco Power Indonesia and PT. Tri Wahana Universal intend to launch an IPO for 15%-30% stake by the second quarter of 2015. PT PP Properti and PT Waskita Beton Precast plans to launch IPO in 2015. PT Pelayanan Listrik Nasional BATAM and PT Phapros Tbk. will launch an IPO in the first half of 2015. GMF AeroAsia, PT, PT Harapan Borneo International, PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) and PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII (Persero) also plans to launch an IPO, however, the stakes to be sold, price and listing period are not known.

GMF AeroAsia and Gallant Venture Ltd. Approves Basic Term Agreement

GMF AeroAsia and Gallant Venture Ltd. signed a Basic Term Agreement (BTA) at the GMF Hangar 1 on December 8 th, 2014. The agreement includes construction of infrastructure and hangar that will be managed by a joint venture company established by GMF and Bintan Aviation Investments (BAI). The BTA is a legal umbrella for a Joint Venture Agreement between GMF and BAI.

GMF and BAI Team Up to Form Joint Venture Company for Aircraft Maintenance at Bintan Industrial Park in Lobam Bintan in the Province of Riau Islands

GMF AeroAsia and Bintan Aviation Investments are teaming up to form a Joint Venture company for aircraft maintenance at Bintan Industrial Park in Lobam Bintan in the Province of Riau Islands. The Joint Venture Agreement was signed by the President & CEO of GMF AeroAsia, Mr. Richard Budihadianto and The President Director of Bintan Aviation Investments, Mr. Frans Gianto Gunara, at Hangar 1 GMF in Cengkareng on 8 December 2014. The Aircraft Maintenance Centre will be part of the 177 hectare Bintan Aerospace Industrial Park located in the existing Bintan Industrial Estate adjacent to the runway of Bintan Airport. Bintan Airport is the first privately owned airport in Indonesia with facilities to accommodate wide body aircraft. The Bintan Aerospace Industrial Park will include Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities for aircraft; manufacturing and assembly of aircraft engines and components; aviation training and academy, and research & development. This Joint Venture company of GMF and BAI will focus on the growing aircraft maintenance market, in particular wide body aircrafts. Garuda Indonesia have already operated B777 and will operate a total of ten B777 aircrafts, 16 units of A330 that will grow to a total of 30 units and a number of B747. Other airlines, especially in Asia Pacific are expanding their aircraft fleet triggering a fast growing aircraft maintenance market. In 2013 the total market of aircraft maintenance in Asia Pacific is USD 16.4 billion.
