American Tower Corporation Mulls Acquisition Of Viom

American Tower Corporation (NYSE:AMT) (AMC) is finally set to own a controlling stake in Viom Networks Limited for rumored INR 200 billion. The deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday. ATC will acquire the stake from a clutch of existing investors, including SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited (BSE:523756) and Tata Teleservices Limited. ATC has been in talks with Viom Networks since June last year but the negotiations got serious since October.

American Tower To Acquire Viom Networks

American Tower Corporation (NYSE:AMT) is expected to announce next week its long-expected acquisition of Viom Networks Limited in the largest inbound M&A deal so far this fiscal, said three sources familiar with the development. American Tower will pick up 51% stake in Viom Networks complicated, multi-tier transaction that values the latter at INR 200 billion- INR 2100 billion, including its INR 60 billion debt, they said. The deal has been in the making for two years.
