Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. on Dec. 16 said it has appointed Margarita Dilley as chair of the board of the company and its parent CH Energy Group Inc., effective Jan. 1, 2015. The move follows H. Stanley Marshall's intent to retire Dec. 31 after more than four decades of service with Fortis Inc., which acquired Central Hudson in 2013. Dilley, who joined the board of Central Hudson in 2004, is also the former vice president and CFO of Astrolink International LLC. She also chaired Central Hudson's audit and risk committee. In addition, Fortis Properties Inc. President Nora Duke was appointed to Central Hudson's board of directors. As president and CEO of Fortis Properties, Duke is responsible for two operating divisions: commercial real estate and hotels.

Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation has announced the retirement of Steven Lant as CEO of Central Hudson and its parent company, CH Energy Group Inc., effective October 31, 2014. Lant will be succeeded by James P. Laurito, who currently serves as Central Hudson's President. Lant joined Central Hudson in 1980 in its Cost & Rate Division and progressed through a series of promotions with increasing responsibilities throughout his long career, being named Chairman of the Board and CEO in 2003. He has served on the Board of Directors of the industry association The Edison Electric Institute, as well as those of several community groups, including Health Quest, the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation and Dutchess County United Way.
