The New York State Public Service Commission issued order regarding further postponement of a tariff filing by KeySpan Gas East Corp. dba Brooklyn Union of L.I. to align the monthly cost of gas and adjustment provisions and statements with those filed by The Brooklyn Union Gas Company d/b/a National Grid NY in Case 13-G-0439. On May 9, 2014 and July 22, KeySpan Gas East Corp. dba Brooklyn Union of L.I. made tariff filings to align the monthly cost of gas and adjustment provisions and statements with those filed by The Brooklyn Union Gas Company d/b/a National Grid NY in Case 13-G-0439.1 The filings had an effective date of September 1, 2014, but were subsequently postponed to December 1, 2014. The company has agreed to further postpone the tariff amendments to allow time for Staff to complete its review. On October 31, 2014, the company filed a supplement to implement the further postponement and requests a waiver of the requirement of newspaper publication of the change proposed by the supplement. It is recommended that: Supplement No. 58 to Schedule P.S.C. No. 1 - Gas become effective on November 30, 2014; and special permission be granted waiving the requirement of Public Service Law Section66(12)(b) and 16 NYCRR Section720-8.1 as to newspaper publication of the change proposed by the supplement.
