Honda North America Announces Executive Changes, Effective April 2016

Honda announced that Toshiaki Mikoshiba has been named president and CEO of Honda North America, moving over from a top post at Honda in Europe. He is replacing Takuji Yamada, who is retiring after two years in the job. Honda announces leadership changes each year at this time, which take effect in April. Among the other changes that likely will be of interest in Ohio: Soichiro Takizawa will became senior vice president for Honda North America, with responsibility for sales, manufacturing, purchasing and research and development. He is, other than Mikoshiba, the most significant new face for the company in this continent.
