Mid Penn Bank Receives Regulatory Approval to Open Retail Branch at 1021 Centre Turnpike in Orwigsburg

Mid Penn Bank has received approval from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to open a retail branch at 1021 Centre Turnpike in Orwigsburg. The office will open as Miners Bank, a division of Mid Penn Bank, in early June of 2017. In addition to the new branch in Orwigsburg, the bank has plans to open a branch in New Holland, Lancaster County, on May 1 and to begin developing and constructing a branch in Halifax, Dauphin County, in 2017 (pending township and regulatory approvals).

Mid Penn Bank Announces Plans to Open Branch in Halifax

Mid Penn Bank, subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp Inc. has plans under way to construct a branch office in Halifax, Pa. The bank has secured land on Peters Mountain Road in Halifax Township, otherwise known as Route 225, which serves as a major travel route for the area. The bank will apply for the necessary township and regulatory approvals with the intention of developing and constructing a full-service branch.

Mid Penn Bank Seeks Regulatory Approval to Open Orwigsburg Branch

Mid Penn Bank announced that it is seeking regulatory approval to open a branch at 1021 Centre Turnpike in Orwigsburg. The bank submitted an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Upon receiving the necessary approvals and completing renovations, the office will open as Miners Bank, a division of Mid Penn Bank, in June of 2017. It is anticipated that the Orwigsburg location will employ three to five team members to fulfill personal banking, business banking and lending needs at the location.
