A new agreement between Pursway, Inc. and KBM Group allows brands and agencies to reach the friends of their target audience through a variety of online publishers, DMPs and DSPs. Targeting this high performance audience of friends will improve marketing ROI by 30 to 50%. The Pursway Connect audience extension platform is a unique asset -- a social graph that identifies close relationships between over 150 million people, resulting in a people based network with over a billion relationships. These relationships are a powerful and previously unavailable tool for marketers to find and target their audience's best friends. Pursway Connect brand and agency users can create audiences consisting of friends of their most valued customers and target them in their desired DMP or DSP in a fast, simple and secure way. The new channels will add more options in targeted media beyond social media and direct mail. The new agreement augments KBM Group's and Pursway Connect's reach via the KBM Group Zipline Data Management Platform. KBM Group, part of the Wunderman network, will now be able to create audiences beyond individuals to a wider sphere of influencers and prospective customers.

KBM Group announced that William Burkart has joined the company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to CEO Gary S. Laben, Burkart will be responsible for KBM Group's operations, including data and consumer engagement services, analytics and customer insights, business development, and organizational alignment across all business units, including data services, health services, and client solution delivery services. Bringing extensive experience reorganizing, growing and managing CRM and digital agencies, Burkart will oversee client relationships and the delivery of KBM Group's integrated marketing strategies and solutions, including orchestration of data-driven platforms and technology partnerships, product and service innovation, IT operations and data security. Prior to joining KBM Group, Burkart was Vice President of Acxiom's Global Agency.
KBM Group Creates New Data Services Unit to Accelerate Growth of Global Data Assets; Appoints Dave DeMarshas President of New Unit

KBM Group is creating a new Data Services business unit to more rapidly expand data assets in global markets, including Europe and Latin America where the company already has begun developing assets and establishing partnerships. The move supports the global growth of Wunderman's Data & Insights operations, which KBM Group powers, providing data services in local country markets as part of its integrated IMPACT(R) Customer Engagement Platform. The IMPACT CEP links data, analytical insights, and measurement across various kinds of marketing implementations and all consumer touch points, including digital, social, email and direct, in-store, mobile, and emerging channels.
The new Data Services business is headed by Dave DeMarsh, previously CEO of KBM Group's I-Behavior, in the new capacity of president. DeMarsh will directly oversee KBM Group's data companies and third-party partners in Europe and Latin America as he continues to pursue new partnerships worldwide. He remains in his role as COO of the Data Alliance, WPP's cross-company organization for data collaboration, of which KBM Group is a founding and sustaining member.
