Republic Bank announced that it will allow its debit and credit card clients to use Samsung Pay for their payment transactions, in addition to Apple Pay. With the new feature, clients can make purchases with a single touch using compatible Samsung devices. By adding their consumer credit or debit card to Samsung Pay, using tokenisation, a unique and temporary credit card is created, enabling security and privacy in each transaction. Republic First Bancorp Hires Elizabeth Six as Vice President and Relationship Manager for Pennsylvania Market

Republic First Bancorp Inc. announced that Elizabeth Six has been named Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Pennsylvania market. In this role, Six who has 18 years of banking and financial industry experience will work to develop new and grow existing relationships with Republic Bank's commercial customers. Six began her banking career at Commerce Bank in 2004 as a branch manager in South Jersey. She has since spent time as a Market Manager at Susquehanna Bank and then as a Vice President and Relationship Manager of Business and Commercial Enterprise Banking at Citizens Bank, where she was recognized as a top three producer in the country. Most recently, Six was employed by Wells Fargo, serving as Vice President and Senior Business Relationship Manager in Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware. Republic First Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Republic Bank, announced that two Vice Presidents of Commercial and Industrial Lending, Matt Skilton and Matt Moresco, have been promoted to Team Leaders. This newly created role will support the bank's overall growth strategy for its loan portfolio and retail deposit base and ensures the continued development and synergy between these two dynamic business lines. Matt Skilton joined the Republic Bank Commercial and Industrial Lending team in March 2009. With nearly a decade of experience at Commerce Bank and TD Bank, Skilton's deep knowledge of the region and the Republic Bank model allowed him to achieve immediate success in his position. He has continued to build upon that success and will now utilize his banking and financial industry expertise to lead a team of lenders and partner with Center City and Northeast Philadelphia store managers to further support the bank's growth plan. Since June 2013, Matt Moresco has played an important role for Republic Bank's Commercial and Industrial Lending team. Prior to joining Republic Bank, he spent 17 years at Commerce Bank and TD Bank.
