Honda Motor India to Launch New Jazz in India

Honda Motor India is planning to launch its new Jazz in India in 2015. The model sits on a wheelbase of 2,530mm - 30 mm longer than the previous one. It is likely to be equipped with the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm, and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can generate 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. The vehicle features airbags, side airbags, and ABS with EBD, touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity and multi-function steering wheel.

Honda India Introduces New Variants of its City Sedan in India

Honda India has introduced new variants of its City sedan in India. The company said it has added the VX(O) grade to the gasoline (petrol) and diesel options in its line-up. Positioned over the existing VX grade, the new variants are equipped with an advanced integrated touchscreen audio visual navigation (AVN) system. Included in the system are a 15.7 cm touchscreen, satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, i-Pod, MP3, and Rear Camera Display with Guidelines. Although the vehicle remains same under the hood, the Japanese automaker has added White Orchid Pearl to the City line-up. The gasoline variant is priced at INR 1.06 million while the diesel trim costs INR 1.18 million in New Delhi.

Honda India Launches CNG Version of Amaze

Honda India has launched the CNG version of its Amaze, named Amaze 1.2 S MT Plus, in India. The model is priced at INR 654,000. The automaker has started taking orders for the vehicle at all Honda showrooms located in the cities where alternative fuel is on offer, and it will come with a two-year warranty as standard.
