Clarizen Introduces New Features to its Clarizen V6 Cloud-Based Platform

Clarizen, Inc. announced the latest enhancements and customer-requested features to its Clarizen v6 cloud-based platform. New additions for resource management, user experience and communication -- both inside and outside the enterprise -- are designed to turn organizations into high-performance, real-time operations. With Clarizen, customers have an easy-to-use collaboration and project management solution that connects unstructured conversations with structured work. New features include: Enhanced resource management: Expanding on its popular drag-and-drop functionality, Clarizen now allows users to instantly add a resource to a task, or replace the resource on a task directly from the resource management screen. Users can immediately see if a resource will become overloaded with the new assignment and undo changes if needed. Customizable, branded user interface: For the first time, companies can use their own corporate branding on the Clarizen interface, including images, fonts and colors. On an individual level, users can drag and drop work items to reorder them in their work plan and create dependencies. Other new interface features allow users to eliminate any irrelevant information in any view by minimizing panels. Expanded external communication: To streamline communication with customers and other stakeholders who aren't necessarily Clarizen users, companies can now share virtually any Clarizen view as a widget or email link. They can also edit views to select specific information to be shared with external parties. New internal notifications: For immediate communication of important new policies and procedural changes, Clarizen now allows administrators to set pop-up notifications to inform users as soon as they log into the system, or whenever needed.

Clarizen announced new updates to its Clarizen v6 cloud-based platform. Clarizen V6 redefines collaboration for the enterprise by organically creating The Work Graph(TM) that connects conversations, actions and deliverables to help organizations achieve operational excellence. Now, new visual reporting, enhanced social discussion groups and streamlined time reporting, among other features, enhance organizations' abilities to collaborate more effectively and get more work done, faster. New updates to Clarizen v6, available, include: Visual Charts and reports: New chart views (bar, pie, or scatter) give even better visibility into customers' data, allowing them to create reports on the fly and build configurable dashboards and charts across the system. Organizations can build different views with filters to visually slice and dice data in any way they would like, as well as drill down into any chart to get detailed information. This enables them to focus on their most critical work. Time reporting enhancements: Clarizen v6 allows users to quickly add a new task and report time on it at the same time. In this release, users can now also add themselves to tasks that they may not have originally been assigned to and report time. The ability to do updates in real time dramatically simplifies and improves the accuracy of the time tracking process. Enhanced social discussion groups: New search and filtering capabilities in the News Feed and discussion groups makes it possible to quickly search for a specific post, eliminating the need to leave the feed in favor of the global search. Users can filter out closed discussions and locate messages posted by a particular user, along with many other factors, to get to the most relevant post and quickly take action or create a new project as needed. Augmented ability to configure projects: Users can now define the beginnings and ends of workdays, export multiple projects at once to a Microsoft(c) Project and gain enhanced visibility into billing rates. In addition, users can now quickly upload new custom object icons to easily distinguish between work items or differentiate between milestones.
