Clarizen Announces the Spring 2015 Release of the Clarizen V6 Software
Mar 10 15
Clarizen has announced the spring 2015 release of the Clarizen V6 software. The company updates its software every three months. The latest release includes a number of new features, most notably a reports and dashboards feature that provides insights on key data without the need for third-party business analytics providers. The graphics showing the data can be shared with other staff members and clients outside the organisation, even if they do not have a Clarizen account. Clarizen announced the details at the first Clarizen@Work2015 conference in San Francisco, where the company also revealed an extension of its collaboration with Box for document hosting. This means that staff working on Clarizen for project management can provide access to content hosted in Box, so that the necessary documents can be accessed easily without 'cluttering up' the Clarizen platform.
Clarizen Strengthens Integration with Box
Mar 9 15
Clarizen announced its enhanced integration with Box. With a strengthened integration between the two cloud services, companies can connect files and folders seamlessly between platforms, boosting increased productivity that drives business results. The Clarizen-Box integration allows organizations and users to easily link content between the two platforms and view all files and folders that have been uploaded into Box directly from Clarizen. This allows for users to work with their Box content seamlessly from Clarizen, without impacting Clarizen's streamlined user interface or advanced configuration platform. Additionally, when a new project is activated in Clarizen, a folder in Box will automatically be created and connected to the project, so that it is consistently pre-populated with the relevant documents. Through Clarizen's enhanced integration with Box, customers can: Access one-time authentication via oAuth; Link existing Box files and folders to single or multiple Clarizen items; Create new folders, copy existing folders and assign collaborators; Upload files to Box directly from Clarizen; View files and folders in context.
Clarizen Introduces New Features to its Clarizen V6 Cloud-Based Platform
Feb 26 14
Clarizen, Inc. announced the latest enhancements and customer-requested features to its Clarizen v6 cloud-based platform. New additions for resource management, user experience and communication -- both inside and outside the enterprise -- are designed to turn organizations into high-performance, real-time operations. With Clarizen, customers have an easy-to-use collaboration and project management solution that connects unstructured conversations with structured work. New features include: Enhanced resource management: Expanding on its popular drag-and-drop functionality, Clarizen now allows users to instantly add a resource to a task, or replace the resource on a task directly from the resource management screen. Users can immediately see if a resource will become overloaded with the new assignment and undo changes if needed. Customizable, branded user interface: For the first time, companies can use their own corporate branding on the Clarizen interface, including images, fonts and colors. On an individual level, users can drag and drop work items to reorder them in their work plan and create dependencies. Other new interface features allow users to eliminate any irrelevant information in any view by minimizing panels. Expanded external communication: To streamline communication with customers and other stakeholders who aren't necessarily Clarizen users, companies can now share virtually any Clarizen view as a widget or email link. They can also edit views to select specific information to be shared with external parties. New internal notifications: For immediate communication of important new policies and procedural changes, Clarizen now allows administrators to set pop-up notifications to inform users as soon as they log into the system, or whenever needed.
