CEC Entertainment Inc. has hired a new chief financial officer to replace Tiffany Kice, who left the company to pursue other opportunities. The company appointed Temple Weiss, former CFO of Pegasus Solutions. He will begin serving as CFO on Sept. 29, 2014. In addition to Pegasus, Weiss formerly served as CFO for ACE Cash Express, and LQ Management, a private equity portfolio company comprising more than 800 La Quinta hotels. Weiss also spent five years with Irving-based La Quinta Corp. during which he led the sale of the company to The Blackstone Group in 2006.

CEC Entertainment Inc. announced that Michael H. Magusiak, President and Chief Executive Officer, intends to retire from the Company, effective June 2, 2014. The CEC Board of Directors has initiated a search process to identify a new Chief Executive Officer, which will include a full review of both internal and external candidates.
