Alliant Energy Reaches Settlement with We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service Corporation on Riverside Energy Center Dispute

Alliant Energy announced that it reached a settlement agreement with Energies and Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, on its proposal to build a 650-megawatt combined cycle natural gas-fueled generating facility near Beloit, Wisconsin. The company filed the agreement with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin which allows mutual opportunities for the parties to invest in joint-ownership generation projects and contemplates a joint-development agreement for renewable energy sources. Wisconsin regulators are expected to begin technical hearings for the project on December 21, 2015.
