BrightRoll Expands Technology Infrastructure to Drive Programmatic Video Growth in Asia Pacific

BrightRoll announced the international expansion of its technology infrastructure into Hong Kong with Equinix. This move highlights the growth of digital advertising in the Asia Pacific region (APAC) and increasing demand for BrightRoll’s programmatic video advertising solutions across the region. With expansion into Equinix’s Hong Kong data center facilities, advertisers can access the BrightRoll Marketplace in APAC and connect to thousands of publishers in the region, including Yahoo owned and operated (O&O) inventory.

BrightRoll Announces Management Appointments

BrightRoll announced the expansion of its executive team with the addition of Bruce Falck as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Falck oversees day-to-day operations at BrightRoll and is responsible for leading sales, marketing and business development to scale the company and drive growth of programmatic video globally. Falck played a central role in Google's programmatic business over the past several years. Most recently, he led global sales and strategy for the DoubleClick Digital Marketing platform and advertising exchange. Falck brings nearly two decades of experience in building Internet businesses. In addition to Falck, BrightRoll appointed Guy Yalif as Vice President of Global Marketing. He is responsible for building the BrightRoll brand and fueling continued growth for the company. Most recently, Yalif served as head of global product marketing at Twitter. Yalif has spent more than a decade as a digital media marketing and product leader at Yahoo and several startups. Previously, he advised Fortune 500 companies at the Boston Consulting Group and designed airplanes. BrightRoll also recently announced that Mark Vranesh to its Board of Directors to serve as Audit Committee Chair. Starcom MediaVest Group Canada Selects BrightRoll as its Programmatic Video Platform Partner

BrightRoll announced that Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) Canada will leverage its technology platform to bring simplicity, scale and efficiency across digital video advertising in the region. BrightRoll builds technology to automate and improve digital video advertising. SMG Canada will rely on the company's advanced programmatic buying platform for sophisticated measurement tools and insights from Nielsen and comScore, as well as access to independent, MRC-accredited viewability metrics and reporting. In addition, SMG Canada will customize and integrate preferred first and third-party data on the BrightRoll platform to maximize in-target delivery, optimize to desired audiences and validate campaign performance on behalf of clients.
