Delivered via a beautifully designed iPhone app, Reuters TV defines a new category of TV news by offering curated but personalized news coverage that is available anywhere and on-demand. Reuters TV for iPhone is exclusively available on the App Store. Designed to meet the varied demands of mobile viewers, Reuters TV offers two unique services: Reuters Now and Live Feeds. Reuters Now is an algorithmically assembled but editorially curated news program that is: On-demand; Up-to-date; Any duration (between 5 and 30 minutes); Customized to each viewer's interests and location; and Downloadable for offline viewing. Live Feeds are: Real-time coverage of global events (from protests in Egypt to Presidential speeches in Washington D.C.); Unfiltered and uninterrupted; and Available live and on-demand. Editorial content within Reuters TV is produced exclusively for the service and draws upon Reuters extraordinary reach from 2,500 journalists in over 160 countries. To deliver the service's variable program lengths, all content is produced in multiple versions and organized by editorial teams in London, Hong Kong, New York and Washington DC, providing 24/7 coverage for viewers. Reuters and Perform Group plc have announced a strategic partnership to syndicate and distribute content across their respective platforms. The ground-breaking alliance will see Reuters sports footage integrated into Omnisport Ready, PERFORM'S digital sports video news service. Content will also be available via ePlayer, PERFORM'S market-leading embeddable video player for publishers and Reuters will also have its own non-sports video news channel within ePlayer. Furthermore, Omnisport Uncut, the 24/7 sports video news service for broadcasters, will now be available to Reuters broadcast news customers. The service will be accessible via normal Reuters distribution channels, meaning no technical integration work for customers.
