Honda Aircraft Company Announces Delivery of Hondajet Flight Simulator

Honda Aircraft Company has announced the delivery of the first HondaJet flight simulator. The simulator is being installed at the company's world headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. The full motion, Level D simulator was developed in partnership with FlightSafety International and will be located at the HondaJet Training Center on the campus of Honda Aircraft. To enhance its safety features, Honda partnered with FlightSafety International to develop the simulator and training program. The HondaJet flight simulator is a top-of-the-line training device that uses sophisticated software to precisely replicate the flight characteristics of the aircraft. The simulator will be capable of providing a full range of scenarios to help prepare and qualify pilots to safely operate the aircraft. The simulator was constructed and assembled at FlightSafety's manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with the collaboration of Honda Aircraft. It will be certified to meet both the Federal Aviation Administration and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations.

Honda Aircraft Company marked the opening of its new customer service facility at its world headquarters in Greensboro, N.C. The facility is an expansion of the company's corporate operations at the Piedmont Triad International Airport. With the facility's addition, the Honda Aircraft campus totals more than 130 acres and more than 600,000 square feet. The facility will provide a corporate base for Honda Aircraft Company's customer service organization, which will manage warranty administration; service programs sales and administration; 24/7 technical support center; technical publications; training; and will complement the HondaJet dealer network by providing heavy maintenance and major repair and overhaul work. The customer service facility is an expansion of the Honda Aircraft campus that includes R&D, headquarters and production facilities to market, sell and manufacture the HondaJet. The approximately 90,000-square-foot facility includes dedicated office and work space for Honda Aircraft Company's customer service organization.
