Stanford Health Care announced that Mariann Byerwalter will serve as its interim President and CEO, effective January 2, 2016. Byerwalter is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of SRI International, and a board member of Stanford Health Care. In addition, she is currently a Director on the boards of Pacific Life Insurance Company; Franklin Resources Inc.; WageWorks Inc.; Redwood Trust Inc.; the Burlington Capital Group; and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. In September 2015, Stanford Health Care announced that its current President and CEO, Amir Dan Rubin, will leave at the end of the year to accept another opportunity. Byerwalter will begin transitioning into her new role over the next two months to help ensure a smooth changeover.
Stanford Health Care Introduces New Medicare Advantage Offering for Medicare Beneficiaries in Santa Clara County

Stanford Health Care is announcing that it will offer a new Medicare Advantage plan in October 2015 for seniors living in Santa Clara County. Medicare beneficiaries can enroll in the Stanford Health Care Medicare Advantage plan during the federally regulated annual enrollment period from October 15 to December 7, with benefits effective January 1, 2016. Stanford Health Care Advantage plan members will also have the assistance of Stanford member care specialists to walk them through their benefits, plan options, and services, seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Stanford Health Care President & CEO Amir Dan Rubin to Step Down at the End of 2015

Stanford Health Care announced that Amir Dan Rubin, president and chief executive officer, will leave at the end of this year to join UnitedHealth Group and its Optum organization as Executive Vice President. Rubin became the President and CEO of Stanford Health Care in January 2011. During his tenure, Stanford Health Care has achieved many important milestones.
