Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd. introduced its lowest priced Home UPS Micron for power back-up in the rural and urban markets of Andhra Pradesh. The Micron range is a user-friendly digital home UPS that can power up regular appliances. It is one of Su-Kam’s low-price inventions starting at INR 2,000. The small UPS can serve the needs of a shop or a small household. Micron has been launched in the Andhra Pradesh market keeping in mind the customer demand for low-cost power back-up solutions. Micron is based on the latest and advanced micro controller-based technology which facilitates optimal power consumption. It safeguards appliances from unsafe power conditions such as high and low voltage, surge, overload and short circuit. It runs household electrical appliances such as bulbs, fan or TVs.

Su-Kam Mulls Acquisitions

Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd. is seeking acquisition opportunities. Su-Kam has plans to acquire firms and expand its solar power business. "In the next five years, we do look at acquisitions as part of our expansion plans," Kunwer Sachdev, Managing Director of Su-Kam, said.
