Trover Solutions Launches Spectra PI Software to Strengthen its Payment Integrity Efforts

Trover Solutions introduced Spectra PI. Spectra PI is a proprietary technology developed to support Trover’s Payment Integrity division, which is aimed to help healthcare payers detect overpayments and find areas where fraud and waste may exist. Trover’s significant investment in the development of the Spectra PI technology is designed to allow Trover to address many of the challenges that healthcare payers face, including overpayments, coordination of benefits, and provider audits. Spectra PI will serve as Trover’s primary data analytics platform to deliver value to its clients in the Payment Integrity space. This technology will allow Trover to automate the analysis of a client’s data, increasing the speed and accuracy of finding and reporting overpayments to clients. Providing the engine to its Payment Integrity solutions, Spectra PI allows Trover’s staff of industry professionals to build solutions to not only identify overpayments but also, to make recommendations that will prevent overpayments in the future. This new offering uniquely uses one piece of technology to review complex data to identify payment errors, coding errors and overpayments.
